ECI Named “Contractor of the Year” by ConocoPhillips
PRICE, Utah (March 2010) - Electrical Contractors Inc. announced it has been named Contractor of the Year by ConocoPhillips’ Midcontinent Business Unit which spans 10 states, from Texas to North Dakota and from Alabama to Utah. Known for its emphasis on safety awareness, ConocoPhillips Company (NYSE: COP) is one of the largest integrated energy companies in the United States, fifth-largest refiner, one of the top five largest private sector energy corporations in the world, and No. 4 on the 2009 Fortune 500 list. The COY award is open to all types of contractors performing for ConocoPhillips.
The Contractor of the Year Award recognizes ECI’s outstanding safety record on ConocoPhillips Projects, as well its commitment to grounded innovation, performance and reliability during the 2009 period. Established for more than a quarter century, ECI is a mid-sized electrical contracting and engineering team with expertise in the industrial, institutional and commercial sectors. In addition to electrical work, ECI also provided general construction and specialized pipe insulation services out of their Central Utah headquarters. They have provided similar services to ConocoPhillips for literally decades, as well as other high-end players in the oil and gas field industry.
