Eleven Kids and Super WHY! are excited to announce the Utah Super Readers Big Event on June 26 from 11am to 1pm in downtown Provo. The event proves that literacy and reading are fun and features an exclusive appearance by Super Why, the popular mascot of the PBS show Super WHY! which promotes literacy among children.

Children of all ages, along with their families, are invited to join Super Why and Princess Presto for a variety of free activities after the Freedom Festival parade.

Super WHY! fans will have the opportunity to have their photos taken with both Super Why and Princess Presto, create make-and-take crafts, enjoy Super Reader Story Time, write and illustrate their own stories, play online Super WHY! games, and even have a chance to win free books and other prizes. Parents can join in on the fun and also learn about additional educational resources in the community.

The Utah Super Readers Big Event will be held at Memorial Park, located at 100 East Center Street in Provo (where the Freedom Festival Parade ends). Activities start at 11am. The Freedom Festival Parade begins at 800 East Center Street at 9:30am.
