ECI Announces Steve Hansen as new General Manager

PRICE, Utah (June 2010) - Electrical Contractors Inc. announces the naming of Steve Hansen to the post of General Manager. Hansen will oversee the electrical contracting portion of the company, freeing current General Manager Stoney Jensen, PE, to continue with special projects, the enhancement of the Electrical Engineering Division and additional client relations.

Hansen, who relocated to ECI’s Price Headquarters for this position, has invested more than two decades in the electrical industry – eighteen years of which involves management roles for both regionally- and nationally-based organizations. “We believe Steve’s involvement will help to maintain a cohesive stability within our management team’s vision, as we transition into a period where our founder will phase into retirement over a period of years,” states Stoney Jensen, PE. “We’ve always provided our clients with the highest caliber technical personnel. But, it’s also vital to maintain the management savvy and client communication necessary to make certain we’re truly SERVICING each client well. That involves time and expertise. And, as we continue to expand, it is imperative we have the proper human capital in place at all levels.”

ECI was founded more than a quarter century ago as an electrical contracting firm and is currently one of the largest such teams just south of the Wasatch Front. Their other established divisions include the Electrical Engineering Division, General Contracting and the Pipe Insulation Team. (ECI also employs team members with specialized expertise in controls, automation and instrumentation.) Currently, ECI has specifically targeted the Intermountain Region of the Western United States as its project base, with the capability to service projects throughout the West and Midwest. Their team’s most recent work is throughout Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and Montana – among others.
